Standards for Internet Safety

1) When making a social network profile, make it private so only the people in your network can see your profile. If it is a public profile, then anyone on the internet can see your pictures, read your interests, and find out most things about you.
2) Do not put up pictures that you do not want anyone to see. Be careful what pictures you connect to your account because you can be identified in them in case there is something wrong.
3)Keep your address and phone number off your profile. Your friends should know where you live and your phone number so there is no need to have it online open to the public. If they are truly your friend, they can contact you.
4) In terms of your image management, be careful with what you post because you do not want people to get the wrong idea from your picture.
